As of now, there is no official web application for Threads. But, in case you wish to use it on your laptop or computer, there is a workaround. As reported by WindowsCentral, the shortcut requires one to download the APK for Threads. Another need is to get the WSATools app from the Microsoft Store. Here’s a step-by-step guide to download Threads app on windows 11 laptops:

To begin, ensure that you have a laptop or desktop running on Windows 11. Follow the steps mentioned below to open Windows Subsystem for Android (WSA) and install the Threads app:

Step 1- Firstly, open the Windows Subsystem for Android on your device.

Step 2- Next, navigate to the Advanced settings by accessing the sidebar.

Step 3- Look for the Developer Mode option and enable the toggle bar.

Step 4- After enabling Developer Mode, open the WSATools application.

Step 5- Complete the prompt requirements provided by WSATools.

Step 6- Locate the location of the Threads APK file that you have downloaded.

Step 7- Install the Threads app by selecting the APK file. Wait patiently for the installation process to complete. It may take a few minutes.

Step 8- Once the installation is done, you can now access the Threads app on your laptop or desktop.

Step 9- Remember to log in to the Threads app using your Instagram ID to gain access to its features.
