Global auction house Christie’s is set to host its eighth Art+Tech Summit from July 17-18 at its Rockefeller Center flagship in Manhattan.

Announced speakers include artists Refik Anadol, Beeple, and Sasha Stiles, alongside industry leaders like Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak, Pace Gallery CEO Marc Glimcher, and mmERCH founder Colby Mugrabi.

The two-day event will explore how contemporary technology trends intersect with the art and luxury sectors. Announced discussion topics include AI in Real Life, Art and its Market, Thoughtful Luxury, and New Paradigms in Technology. This year’s event will be held in partnership with MoonPay and will feature an on-site activation by the crypto payments company.

Launched in 2018, Christie’s Art + Tech Summit represents one of several initiatives by the 258-year-old institution to embrace web3 and digital innovation. In September 2022, the auction house launched its Christie’s 3.0 platform to offer on-chain digital art sales.
