iQOO is gearing up to introduce its latest smartphone, the iQOO Z10, in the Indian market next month. In anticipation of the launch, the Vivo sub-brand has been revealing key details about the upcoming device through teaser campaigns. The latest revelations confirm the handset’s charging capabilities and display specifications, while a new leak hints at its pricing in India.

Battery and charging

The iQOO Z10 is set to arrive with a robust 7,300mAh battery, ensuring extended usage without frequent recharges. The brand has also confirmed that the handset will support 90W FlashCharge technology, which is claimed to charge the device from zero to 50 per cent in just 33 minutes.

Display and design

A teaser from iQOO showcases the Z10’s quad-curved display, boasting an impressive peak brightness of 5,000 nits. Additionally, the display will feature a centrally-aligned hole-punch cutout, designed to house the front-facing camera. With a thickness of just 7.89mm, the smartphone promises a sleek and modern aesthetic.

Performance

Under the hood, the iQOO Z10 is expected to be powered by the Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 chipset. Reports suggest that the handset has achieved an impressive score of 7,65,234 on AnTuTu’s benchmarking test, indicating a powerful performance for users seeking speed and efficiency.

Pricing

According to a report by Smartprix, the iQOO Z10 will likely be available in two storage variants: 128GB and 256GB. The base model with 128GB storage is rumoured to be priced at Rs. 21,999. However, a Rs. 2,000 bank discount is expected to bring the effective price down to Rs. 19,999 during the initial launch phase.

For context, its predecessor, the iQOO Z9, debuted in India in March last year with a starting price of Rs. 19,999 for the 8GB RAM and 128GB storage model. The latest iteration appears to offer substantial upgrades while maintaining competitive pricing.

Launch date and availability

The iQOO Z10 is scheduled to launch in India on 11 April. It will be offered in two colour options: Glacier Silver and Stellar Black.
