Barber’s RIA uses both Charles Schwab and Altruist as custodians, keeping assets at both companies. He says he’s impressed with Altruist’s technology, not just Hazel. “From a tech perspective, they are miles ahead,” he says. “It’s like the difference between a Nokia cellphone and the iPhone.”
