Shiba Inu was in form earlier when it surged to its month-high of $0.00002874, indicating a returning trend for this cryptocurrency. It is next in line after Dogecoin for its popularity and community support in the meme coin category.

Over the past few days, Shiba Inu has been struggling in the market with the overall downfall of the crypto market. However, the number of Shiba Inu holders is rising, showing increased demand for this meme coin. In a year, the number of Shiba Inu holders has increased from 1,309,128 to 1,394,440, which is quite impressive for a meme coin whose peak was years ago.

In this blog, let us discuss the top contributors holding the Shiba Inu token.

Top 10 Shiba Inu Holders Have 60% of Total SHIB

As per the CoinCarp data, around 1,394,440 holders maintain the circulating supply of 589,581,085,835,700, which is only 58.96% of the total Shiba Inu supply. Out of which, the top ten holders hold 60.41% of the supply, whereas the top 50 addresses hold 71.83% of the total Shiba Inu meme coins. Most importantly, there is no big gap in the top 50 and top 100 Shiba Inu holder’s data, as the top 100 addresses carry 74.97% of the SHIB supply. This makes the top 50 addresses much superior to the rest.

What’s interesting to note is that the top ten holders holding percentage has declined over the years. A year ago, the top 10 holders were responsible for having 61.2% of the supply, but now that has reduced to 60.41%.

Out of which, the top holder with the address “0xdead000000000000000042069420694206942069” is responsible for 41.04% of the supply, which comes to around 410,418,914,164,300. More importantly, the address has gained the 17,180,220SHIB token in the last week only. Overall, this Shiba Inu holder has $10.9 Billion worth of SHIB.

Moving ahead, the second top address “0xf3b0073e3a7f747c7a38b36b805247b222c302a3” does not compete with 1st as it only has 3.6% of the supply, which is much less than the first top Shiba Inu holders keeping. However, the contribution of the address is still high, as it has 36,920,048,515,596 SHIB worth $983.9 Million.

Shiba Inu Exchange Holder List

Unsurprisingly, Binance Exchange, the biggest centralized exchange in the world, is the biggest Shiba Inu holder after holding 23.9% of the supply. The second position on this list is occupied by gate.io for its 3.5% share of the SHIB token supply.

The list doesn’t end here as the Bybit exchange carries 1.9%, OKX carries 0.99%,Crypto.com exchange has 0.75%, and the rest, 68.96%, is divided among other smaller exchanges.

Shiba Inu is not at its peak as the crypto market is plunging, bringing most cryptocurrencies down. However, it has still gained good growth this month as the Shiba Inu price is at $0.00002665 after a 20% hike. Once, the market recovers and the altcoin season starts, Shiba Inu is supposed to aim for March like a rally or even higher.
