TON Teams With Future3 to Launch TON Bootcamp for Mini-App Development – Crypto News

The Open Network (TON) has partnered with Future3 to launch the TON Bootcamp, a 15-team program designed to promote mini-app development within the TON ecosystem in Telegram. The program will run for five months, and applicants have until December 18th to enter the competition for a chance to be among the final 15 selected for the program.

The TON Bootcamp and what’s in it for participants

One of the greatest challenges facing web3 adoption is the lack of a smooth transition for users accustomed to web2. The TON Bootcamp is described as a Web2.5 incubator program, which will empower developers to create lightweight applications or mini-apps that will give Web2 users the chance to experience the decentralised benefits of Web3.

The TON Incubator program will give selected teams the chance to get substantial funding for their projects. Future3 will give the selected teams up to $500,000 in funding. The program will primarily focus on projects developing payment and gaming solutions that will seamlessly integrate into TON’s thriving Web3 ecosystem on Telegram.

Also, the selected teams will benefit from mentoring offered by seasoned blockchain experts from TON Foundation, with hands-on guidance on navigating through TON’s Web3 ecosystem and integrating their apps in it. Mini-apps developed by winning projects will also benefit from deployment for mass adoption under the guidance of the TON team. Some of the projects will have the opportunity to showcase their products at Web3 Festival 2024.

Other resources to be availed to winners include marketing and privileged access to Telegram’s ecosystem, which currently has over 800 million active monthly users. Furthermore, selected teams will benefit from mentorship by leading blockchain professionals in Hong Kong, Singapore and Japan.
