Vivo has launched its Vivo Y36 in India on Thursday. The Vivo Y36 is a feature-packed dual-SIM smartphone with a 6.64-inch LCD display, Snapdragon 680 SoC, and 8GB of RAM. It offers a dual rear camera setup with various photography modes, 128GB internal storage expandable up to 1TB, and a 5,000mAh battery with 44W fast charging.

The Vivo Y36 It comes in a single variant with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, and it is priced at Rs. 16,999. It is available in two colors namely Meteor Black and Vibrant Gold. Customers can purchase the phone from Vivo India’s E-store, Flipkart, and various partner retail stores.

For those buying from Flipkart, there is a cashback offer of Rs. 1,500 available when using hdfc bank debit cards or opting for EMI transactions. Additionally, customers can enjoy an additional discount of Rs. 500 if they use SBI cards and opt for EMI transactions.

Vivo Y36: Specifications

The Vivo Y36 is a dual-SIM smartphone (Nano) that operates on Funtouch OS 13, which is based on Android 13. It boasts a 6.64-inch LCD display with a full-HD+ resolution of 1,080×2,388 pixels. The display offers a 90Hz refresh rate and a 240Hz touch sampling rate. The phone has a notch in the center to accommodate the front-facing camera.

Under the hood, the Vivo Y36 is equipped with an octa-core processor. Snapdragon 680 SoC built on a 6nm process. It comes with 8GB of RAM and an additional 8GB of extended RAM for improved performance.

In terms of photography, the Vivo Y36 sports a dual rear camera setup. It consists of a 50-megapixel primary sensor with an f/1.8 lens and a 2-megapixel bokeh lens. On the front, there is a 16MP selfie camera with an f/2.0 aperture. The camera setup supports various photography modes, including Super Night mode, Multi Style Portrait, and Bokeh Flare Portrait, among others.

The Vivo Y36 offers 128GB of internal storage, which can be expanded up to 1TB using a microSD card in a dedicated slot. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5, GPS/ A-GPS, and a USB Type-C port. The phone is equipped with various sensors such as an accelerometer, ambient light sensor, proximity sensor, e-compass, and gyroscope. Additionally, it features a side-mounted fingerprint scanner for convenient unlocking.
