Meta’s Instagram has rolled out the Threads app for users to download. The app is now available on both Apple App Store and Google Play Store. First opinion about the app as indicated by many users who have started using the app is generally positive.

Commenting about the app, an Instagram user named striking breakdowns wrote “threads is brilliant. Twitter is done. Elon to be KO by Zuck too.” In case you didn’t get, the last part is a remark on the much-talked cage fight between Twitter’s Elon Musk and Meta’ Mark Zuckerberg,

Interestingly, the comment caught Zuckerberg’s attention who replied “We’re only in the opening moments of the first round here…”. The ‘first round’ suggests the first round of a boxing match.

Last month, Elon Musk challenged Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg to a cage fight. “Up for a cage fight,” Musk said to which Zuckerberg retaliated and shared a screenshot of Musk’s tweet along with a caption that read, “send me location.”

Elon Musk replied to the Meta CEO with the address of the location and said, “Vegas Octagon.”

A report by The Verge, the Tesla CEO has been teasing Zuckerberg with provocative remarks on Twitter like “Zuck my 👅.”

Coincidentally, Musk was seen in an impromptu training session with Lex Fridman a few days later. The research scientist at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) expressed great admiration for Musk’s impressive physical attributes, highlighting his strength, power, and skill both in stand-up combat and on the ground.

Fridman has been engaged in training sessions with the Facebook founder. He has previously shared a video capturing Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg’s training in the Brazilian martial art of Jiu Jitsu.

Earlier today, Meta CEO announced the Threads app which is considered a big threat to Elon Musk-owned Twitter. Threads allow users to share text, and links, and engage in conversations by replying to or reposting messages from fellow users.
