Other days of the month also saw significant spikes, averaging over 2000 BTC to exchanges.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_340456\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-340456\" style=\"width: 1800px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-340456\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Source: Glassnode<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>glassnode <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/glassnodealerts\/status\/1671522183472992259?s=20\">stated<\/a> that the seven days moving average hourly flow from m<span class=\"css-901oao css-16my406 r-poiln3 r-b88u0q r-bcqeeo r-qvutc0\">internals<\/span> <span class=\"css-901oao css-16my406 r-poiln3 r-b88u0q r-bcqeeo r-qvutc0\">to<\/span> e<span class=\"css-901oao css-16my406 r-poiln3 r-b88u0q r-bcqeeo r-qvutc0\">exchange<\/span><span class=\"css-901oao css-16my406 r-poiln3 r-bcqeeo r-qvutc0\">  reached as high as 120.77 BTC, one of the highest levels since 2015.<\/span><\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_340458\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-340458\" style=\"width: 2400px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-340458\" src=\"https:\/\/cryptoslate.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/FzJwkTkX0AEESie.jpg\" alt=\"Bitcoin Miners\" width=\"2400\" height=\"1200\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-340458\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Source: Glassnode<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>On July 4, CryptoQuant CEO Ki Young Ju <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/ki_young_ju\/status\/1676121105860558848?s=20\">said<\/a> miners sent over 54,000 BTC to Binance in the past three weeks.  Ju pointed out that there was &#8220;no significant change in BTC-USD open interest, suggesting less likelihood of filling collaterals to punt new long positions.&#8221;<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_340466\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-340466\" style=\"width: 2016px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-340466\" src=\"https:\/\/cryptoslate.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/F0LHNtNagAANb6P.jpg\" alt=\"Bitcoin Miners\" width=\"2016\" height=\"1070\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-340466\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Source: CryptoQuant<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Ju added:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>\u201cSpot selling seems more likely.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>In their recently released operational updates, Bitcoin miners <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/cryptoslate.com\/companies\/marathon-digital\/\">Marathon Digital<\/a>, <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/cryptoslate.com\/companies\/cleanspark\/\">Cleanspark<\/a>and <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/cryptoslate.com\/companies\/hut-8\/\">Hut 8<\/a> confirmed these transactions.<\/p>\n<p>In a July 6 press <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/ir.mara.com\/news-events\/press-releases\/detail\/1320\/marathon-digital-holdings-announces-bitcoin-production-and\">statements<\/a>Marathon Digital said it sold 700 BTC, representing 71.5%, of its mined 979 BTC in June for an undisclosed sum.  Its rival, Hut 8, <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.prnewswire.com\/news-releases\/hut-8-mining-production-and-operations-update-for-june-2023-301870748.html\">sold<\/a> 217 BTC\u2014100% of the Bitcoin it produced in May and 70 Bitcoin produced in June\u2014for $7.9 million.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, Cleanspark <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.prnewswire.com\/news-releases\/cleanspark-releases-june-2023-bitcoin-mining-update-301868651.html\">sold<\/a> 84% of the 491 BTC it mined in June for $11.2 million, according to a July 3 statement.<\/p>\n<p>These trading activities suggest miners wanted to capitalize on BTC&#8217;s recent price surge to secure profits.
