We recently saw it struggle to retain value above $2,000, but something interesting is happening this week.<\/p>\n<hr\/>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Is your portfolio green? For example, a lot of retail <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/ambcrypto.com\/ethereum-will-declining-activity-hinder-growing-revenue\/\" data-wpel-link=\"internal\">activities<\/a> may drive the address count higher.  It is, however, not a powerful observation if whales are not involved.<\/p>\n<p>Addresses holding at least 1,000 ETH have been trimming their balances. As such, this has limited ETH&#8217;s potential rally.  We did see a surge in demand in the last 24 hours, but this is likely because the price hovered at a noteworthy price level.<\/p>\n<p>ETH recently retested a key Fibonacci support at the 0.786 level as shown below.  It has been hovering above this level for some time, which may have been due to heavy accumulation within this zone. The Money Flow Index (MFI) also confirmed that there was some accumulation.  In short, the retail demand, at press time, was in a tug of war with the whales.
