The latest downturn not just extended its weekly losses beyond 17% but also pushed the crypto asset to a multi-year low of $10.14.<\/p>\n<p>As a result, the number of AVAX holders in profit has reached an all-time low. Nearly 99.5% of the investors who own Avalanche\u2019s native token are currently at a loss. According to IntoTheBlock\u2019s latest findings, this isn\u2019t the first time the asset has witnessed similar levels.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Previous lows were recorded in June following the dual implosion of Terra\u2019s UST and LUNA, followed by December, a month after FTX\u2019s bankruptcy.<\/li>\n<li>However, ITB <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/intotheblock\/status\/1693925000909086796\" data-wpel-link=\"external\">revealed<\/a> that it is the first time that nearly all AVAX holders are holding at a loss.<\/li>\n<li>The AVAX ecosystem had several crucial developments this year. This includes Alibaba Cloud \u2013 a subset of Chinese e-commerce conglomerate Alibaba \u2013 joining forces with Avalanche for a <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/cryptopotato.com\/alibaba-cloud-builds-launchpad-to-deploy-metaverse-on-avalanche\/\" data-wpel-link=\"internal\">launchpad<\/a> to deploy metaverses on the layer 1 blockchain.<\/li>\n<li>Avalanche, along with other crypto players, <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/cryptopotato.com\/mastercard-teams-up-with-aptos-polygon-avalanche-solana-to-strengthen-web3-foothold\/\" data-wpel-link=\"internal\">teamed up<\/a> with MasterCard, a collaboration that was aimed at helping the payments giant strengthen its foothold in the Web3 space.<\/li>\n<li>More recently, the Avalanche Foundation <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/cryptopotato.com\/avalanche-launches-50-million-real-world-asset-tokenization-initiative\/\" data-wpel-link=\"internal\">unveiled<\/a> a $50 million initiative \u2013 Avalanche Vista \u2013 to invest in real-world asset (RWA) tokenization.<\/li>\n<li>It was also found that the brief depeg of USDC stablecoin in the first quarter of 2023 <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/cryptopotato.com\/avalanche-transactions-mooned-during-usdcs-temporary-de-peg-in-q1-2023-nansen\/\" data-wpel-link=\"internal\">triggered<\/a> a surge in transactions and active users on Avalanche.
