{"id":144966,"date":"2023-09-01T15:09:56","date_gmt":"2023-09-01T09:39:56","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dripp.zone\/news\/?p=144966"},"modified":"2023-09-01T15:09:56","modified_gmt":"2023-09-01T09:39:56","slug":"grayscale-win-clears-a-path-for-bitcoin-innovation-crypto-news","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/dripp.zone\/news\/grayscale-win-clears-a-path-for-bitcoin-innovation-crypto-news\/","title":{"rendered":"Grayscale win \u2018clears a path\u2019 for Bitcoin innovation &#8211; Crypto News"},"content":{"rendered":"<div data-v-2649fa34=\"\">\n<p>United States presidential candidate Vivek Ramaswamy has lauded Grayscale\u2019s recent victory over the federal securities regulator, arguing the decision will help keep Bitcoin and blockchain innovation from going overseas. <\/p>\n<p>In an Aug. 30 <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/VivekGRamaswamy\/status\/1696942250071359619\">post<\/a> on X (formerly Twitter) the pro-Bitcoin Republican candidate took shot at a \u201cshadow\u201d U.S. government, pointing the blame towards the \u201cunlawful rogue behaviors of \u201c3-letter government agencies\u201d \u2014 presumably the Securities and Exchange Commission.<\/p>\n<p>Ramaswamy said this has led to the U.S. courts to serve as a last line of defense to help keep cryptocurrency innovators in the country, adding that it shouldn\u2019t have reached the courts in the first place. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis decision is strong and clears a path to keep Bitcoin &amp; blockchain innovation in the U.S. instead of overseas,\u201d Ramaswamy explained.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">The shadow government in D.C. is out of control &amp; the federal courts are our *only* remaining line of defense against the unlawful rogue behaviors of 3-letter government agencies.
