Furthermore, due to overwhelming demand, its World App briefly claimed the top spot in Argentina\u2019s App Store rankings.<\/p>\n<p>Alex Blania, Worldcoin co-founder and the CEO of Tools for Humanity, described Argentina as one of the most crypto-forward countries in the world. Blania pointed out that Argentinians \u201cwere much more sensitive and understanding of the fundamental principles of crypto.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Argentina\u2019s struggling economy, marred by rampant inflation, has driven its populace to increasingly <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/cryptoslate.com\/insights\/bitcoin-emerges-as-alternative-store-of-value-amid-argentinas-surging-economic-volatility\/\">embrace<\/a> cryptocurrencies to safeguard their assets against the ongoing financial turmoil.<\/p>\n<p>Earlier this month, a pro-BTC candidate, Javier Milei, <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/cryptoslate.com\/pro-btc-candidate-triumph-drives-bitcoin-to-historic-high-against-argentinian-peso\/\">unexpectedly won<\/a> the country\u2019s primary presidential race, pushing the flagship asset to an all-time high against the Argentinian Peso.<\/p>\n<h2>Worldcoin under investigations<\/h2>\n<p>Despite its acclaimed popularity, Worldcoin is currently under investigation across several jurisdictions.<\/p>\n<p>Argentina\u2019s Public Information Access Agency <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.argentina.gob.ar\/noticias\/la-aaip-investiga-el-tratamiento-de-datos-personales-de-worldcoin-en-argentina\">announced<\/a> its intention to conduct a comprehensive review of Worldcoin\u2019s processes and procedures related to acquiring, retaining, and utilizing its citizens\u2019 personal data.<\/p>\n<p>The agency stated that it was committed to implementing appropriate measures to rectify any issues that may emerge during this assessment.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, Worldcoin faces regulatory issues in other jurisdictions like Kenya, which outrightly <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/cryptoslate.com\/worldcoin-wld-token-jump-nearly-5-despite-kenyan-governments-suspension\/\">suspended<\/a> its operations.
