Nvidia did not specify what countries in the Middle East are impacted. <\/p>\n<p>Advanced Micro Devices (AMD), a direct competitor of Nvidia, was also given a letter by U.S. regulators requesting the same ban on high-level AI chip exports to some Middle Eastern countries, <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.reuters.com\/technology\/us-restricts-exports-some-nvidia-chips-middle-east-countries-filing-2023-08-30\/\">according<\/a> to a Reuters report. <\/p>\n<p>In the quarterly report from Nvidia it said that the new regulatory filing would not have an &#8220;immediate material impact&#8221;
