Additionally, he noted that Solana has demonstrated impressive resilience despite the <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/cryptoslate.com\/solana-foundation-reveals-minimal-exposure-to-ftx\/\">issues<\/a> it faced due to FTX\u2019s collapse, bolstering its position with a thriving developer community. This robust ecosystem reduces development and maintenance costs and guarantees a consistent pool of top-tier talent.<\/p>\n<p>Christensen further hinted that NewChain could serve as a vital bridge connecting Ethereum and Solana. He wrote:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>\u201cBecause we benefit from the core Solana ecosystem being resilient, it would be strategically beneficial to ensure there is a Two-Stage Gravity Bridge from NewChain to Solana alongside the bridge from NewChain to Ethereum.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<h2>Yakovenko says Maker plan is a \u2018win for open source\u2019<\/h2>\n<p>Following the revelation, some crypto community members <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/Junko__Suzuki\/status\/1698170056989937810?s=20\">interpreted<\/a> Maker\u2019s choice as a victory for Solana while simultaneously mocking Ethereum.<\/p>\n<p>However, Yakovenko urged caution, saying Maker\u2019s consideration was a win for open-source technology and had \u201cnothing to do with Solana\u2019s mainnet or sol vs. eth.\u201d He <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/aeyakovenko\/status\/1698182686568018238?s=20\">added<\/a>:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p><span class=\"css-901oao css-16my406 r-poiln3 r-bcqeeo r-qvutc0\">\u201cEthereum is awesome. Solana wasn\u2019t built in a vacuum, and tons and tons of things that make Solana s<\/span><span class=\"css-901oao css-16my406 r-poiln3 r-bcqeeo r-qvutc0\">pecial were built based on Ethereum\u2019s r&amp;d.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<h2>Buterin dumps all MKR tokens<\/h2>\n<p>On the other hand, Ethereum co-founder Vitalik Buterin sold all his MKR tokens for 353 ETH, around $581,000, through CoW protocol DEX, according to Arkham Intelligence\u2019s <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/platform.arkhamintelligence.com\/explorer\/entity\/vitalik-buterin\">dashboard<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Many are pondering the underlying motive for the sale, with many speculating that this might be a retaliatory action.
