The Office of the Foreign Asset Control (OFAC) <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/thedefiant.io\/tornado-cash-us-sanctions\">added<\/a> Tornado Cash to its sanctions list last year.<\/p>\n<p>The public nature of blockchain transactions is generally incompatible with users\u2019 privacy.
