Strategists at Commerzbank analyze the yellow metal\u2019s <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.fxstreet.com\/rates-charts\/forecast\">outlook<\/a>.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"fxs_headline_medium\">Gold will probably find it difficult to come out of the defensive<\/h2>\n<blockquote>\n<p>For as long as the market continues to expect a \u2018soft\u2019 landing in the US, no price recovery is likely to happen for now. After all, this would imply that it will take longer for any interest rate cut to be forthcoming.\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<blockquote>\n<p>However, because our US experts are more pessimistic and believe that a recession is inevitable, we expect to see more disappointing economic data in the coming weeks.
