New use cases, he added in a research note this morning, will also help drive its price up moving forward.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>Layer 2 scaling solutions \u2026 are likely to grow in importance over time. This should help in \u2026 increasing its [EHT\u2019s] P\/E ratio over the next couple of years.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Earlier this month, <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/coinjournal.net\/news\/grayscale-files-to-convert-its-ethereum-trust-into-a-spot-ethereum-etf\/\">Grayscale<\/a> filed with the Securities &amp; Exchange Commission to convert its Ethereum trust \u2013 the largest Ether investment vehicle in the world to a Spot ETH exchange-traded fund.<\/p>\n<h2>Layer 2 could help its PE ratio<\/h2>\n<p><a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/ethereum.org\/en\/layer-2\/\">Layer 2<\/a> solutions are built on Ethereum for efficiency.<\/p>\n<p>The likes of Arbitrum and Optimism also help with preventing transactions from spilling over to a competing network \u2013 which should eventually deliver a boost to the token\u2019s price-to-earnings ratio, as per Geoff Kendrick.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>Ethereum\u2019s established dominance in smart contract platforms, [and] emerging uses in gaming and tokenization, has the potential to push ETH to $8,000.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Interestingly, the Standard Chartered analyst said the <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/coinjournal.net\/news\/\">cryptocurrency<\/a> could even be worth $26,000 to $35,000 eventually but that valuation assumes revenue streams and use cases that are yet to materialise.<\/p>\n<div class=\"post-meta\">\n<hr class=\"mb-6\" \/>\n<h6 class=\"text-3xl  mb-4  text-green-300\">Share this article<\/h6>\n<hr class=\"mb-6\" \/>\n<h6 class=\"text-3xl  mb-4  text-green-300\">Categories<\/h6>\n<hr class=\"mb-6\" \/>\n<h6 class=\"text-3xl  mb-4  text-green-300\">Tags<\/h6>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Analyst Geoff Kendrick explains his super bullish view on Ether.
