That was the value of all the cryptocurrency in the world and the value of all the equity. It\u2019s an internal measure that we use. So it was $300 billion. At the peak 18 months ago, it had gone to $3.2 trillion. And today, we\u2019re $1.7 trillion. So there\u2019s $1.7 trillion of value in our world, which is unbelievable. <\/em><\/p>\nOkay, it\u2019s down half from the peak, but it\u2019s up 5x from four years ago. And so, I just think that people don\u2019t realize that adoption, as we always talked about it, institutional or retail adoption, is happening at pretty much a breakneck speed. Something that goes up 5x in four years, it\u2019s like 100% a year. That\u2019s pretty fast.\u201d <\/em><\/p>\nThe trader says that there is huge potential for more growth in the crypto space, particularly in tokenizing real-world assets (RWA) on blockchains.<\/p>\n
\u201cEven this concept of tokenizing real-world assets, RWAs, which has been growing a little more in vogue in the last six months, we went from $100 million of assets tokenized to now $800 million in a few months. But it\u2019s $800 million. <\/em><\/p>\nThere are hundreds of trillions of dollars worth of assets. And then you look at something like the stablecoin market, which literally three years ago was zero. And last year, in 2022, you had $8 trillion of stablecoins settled, $8 trillion. Now, what in the traditional world goes from zero to $8 trillion in three years?\u201d<\/em><\/p>\nAccording to the trader, the crypto space is now growing at a faster rate than ever before.<\/p>\n
