Customers at one of America\u2019s biggest banks are reportedly seeing erroneous withdrawals hit their accounts.<\/p>\n
Concerns over unexplained withdrawals at Wells Fargo tagged as \u201cdebit card pending correction\u201d began circulating on social media a week ago, with thousands of people calling out the bank, reports<\/a> the CBS-affiliated news station WNCT.<\/p>\n The unexplained charges siphoned as little as a few dollars to hundreds of dollars from accounts, causing some to go into the negative.<\/p>\n Its been over a week and i still havent<\/p>\n \u2014 Forward Moving Lines (@GhostZapper64) October 17, 2023<\/a><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n A Wells Fargo representative says the bank suffered a technical glitch and the lender will be automatically rolling back the charges and any fees connected to the issue.<\/p>\n \u201cDue to a systems issue that has been resolved, some customers may experience a delay in posted transactions. The majority of customers are not affected by this issue. <\/em><\/p>\n Any overdraft fees incurred as a result of this incident will be automatically reversed.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n This is the third time this year that customers at the banking giant have encountered issues with their account balances.<\/p>\n In August, Wells Fargo experienced<\/a> a technical problem that caused some customers\u2019 direct deposits not to show up in their accounts.
