It follows as the judge officially signs an order regarding the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission\u2019s (SEC) voluntarily <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/coingape.com\/breaking-us-sec-drops-lawsuit-against-ripple-executives\/\">dropping charges against individual defendants<\/a> Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse and executive chairman Chris Larsen.<\/p>\n<h2>XRP Lawsuit: Judge Signs Order In Ripple Vs SEC Lawsuit<\/h2>\n<p>According to a court <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/storage.courtlistener.com\/recap\/gov.uscourts.nysd.551082\/gov.uscourts.nysd.551082.922.0.pdf\">filing<\/a>, Judge Analisa Torres approved an order regarding the SEC and Ripple\u2019s request to propose a briefing schedule to confer on institutional sales of XRP. Judge Torres ordered the parties to jointly suggest a briefing schedule by November 9.<\/p>\n<p><!-- WP QUADS Content Ad Plugin v. 2.0.72.1 --><\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>\u201cThe parties shall jointly propose a briefing schedule with regard to the remedies, or, if the parties cannot agree, shall jointly request that the court set a briefing schedule.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>In addition, the April 16, 2024 final pretrial conference and the April 23 trial are adjourned until further notice in the XRP lawsuit.<\/p>\n<p>The<a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/coingape.com\/ripple-to-confer-with-us-sec-on-institutional-sales-of-xrp-says-ripple-attorney\/\"> SEC and Ripple contemplate<\/a> remedies for its Section 5 violations with respect to its institutional sales of XRP.
