{"id":192063,"date":"2023-11-12T02:17:42","date_gmt":"2023-11-11T20:47:42","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dripp.zone\/news\/?p=192063"},"modified":"2023-11-12T02:17:42","modified_gmt":"2023-11-11T20:47:42","slug":"eur-usd-sees-halting-gains-for-friday-trying-to-climb-back-into-1-07-crypto-news","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/dripp.zone\/news\/eur-usd-sees-halting-gains-for-friday-trying-to-climb-back-into-1-07-crypto-news\/","title":{"rendered":"EUR\/USD sees halting gains for Friday, trying to climb back into 1.07 &#8211; Crypto News"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><\/p>\n<div id=\"fxs_article_content\">\n<p>\n                        <span class=\"fxs_socialmedia_bar_share_label\">Share:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>The Euro is seeing a thin rebound on Friday after declining steadily through the week.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Concerns are mounting that the ECB may have to move more to cap inflation.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Up Next: Tuesday sees EU GDP, US CPI inflation readings.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The EUR\/USD is seeing a minor rebound on Friday as the US Dollar (USD) cools its heels following a week of steady gains that sent the Euro (EUR) down almost a full percent top-to-bottom from Monday&#8217;s peak of 1.0756.<\/p>\n<p>EU data was relatively thin this week with much of the market focus going to central bank figures. <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.fxstreet.com\/macroeconomics\/central-banks\/ecb\">European Central Bank<\/a> (ECB) President Christine Lagarde avoided making any waves on Friday during a public appearance, and markets are still chewing developments after Federal Reserve (Fed) <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.fxstreet.com\/macroeconomics\/central-banks\/fed\">Chairman Jerome Powell<\/a> came out with unexpectedly hawkish comments on Thursday.<\/p>\n<p>Fed Chair Powell noted that the Fed isn&#8217;t entirely confident that they have done enough to reign in inflation, and market corkscrewed on the statements.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"fxs_headline_medium\">EU GDP, US CPI in the pipe for next week<\/h2>\n<p>Next week sees EU Gross Domestic Product (GDP) figures on Tuesday, to be followed by US Consumer <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.fxstreet.com\/economic-calendar\/united-states\">Price Index<\/a> (CPI) inflation figures.<\/p>\n<p>The EU&#8217;s third quarter GDP\u00a0 is expected to hold steady for both the monthly and annualized figures, forecast at -0.1% and 0.1% respectively.<\/p>\n<p>On the US side, headline CPI for October is expected to fall back from 0.4% to 0.1%, while Core CPI for the year into October is expected to hold steady at 4.1%.<\/p>\n<p>With the Fed&#8217;s hawkish stance and renewed market focus on central bank statements, next week&#8217;s growth and inflation figures are set to have an increased impact if figures deviate from forecasts.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"fxs_headline_medium\">EUR\/USD Technical Outlook<\/h2>\n<p>The Euro has spent most of the week hung up on the 1.0700 price level after Monday&#8217;s clean rejection from 1.0750.<\/p>\n<p>The <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.fxstreet.com\/currencies\/eurusd?\">EUR\/USD<\/a> has been capped off by the 200-day Simple Moving Average (SMA) near 1.0800, with a bearish 50-day SMA putting a floor underneath prices, leaving the pair strung in the middle as prices consolidate between the moving averages.<\/p>\n<p>Despite still being down over 5% from July&#8217;s peaks near 1.1275, <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.fxstreet.com\/currencies\/eurusd\">the EUR\/USD pair<\/a> has been steadily grinding higher from early October&#8217;s swing low into 1.0450.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"fxs_headline_medium\">EUR\/USD Daily Chart<\/h2>\n<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"fxs_headline_medium\">EUR\/USD Technical Levels<\/h2>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Share: The Euro is seeing a thin rebound on Friday after declining steadily through the week.
