Amazon AWS has announced its generative AI chatbot akin to ChatGPT<\/a> but catered specifically to businesses at the re:Invent conference on Tuesday. The latest move by Amazon Web Services (AWS), the leader in the cloud computing technology sector, comes amidst a time when its competitors like Microsoft and Google have already deployed their own generative AI technology in their products.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n Amazon is marketing Q as a \u2018new type of generative AI powered assistant\u2019 that can answer employees’ questions, generate content and take actions using the data of the business.\u00a0<\/p>\n Meanwhile, in a blogpost explaining the purpose of its new generative AI offering, Amazon noted that the new chatbot is \u201cdesigned for work that can be tailored to your business. You can use Amazon Q to have conversations, solve problems, generate content, gain insights, and take action by connecting to your company\u2019s information repositories, code, data, and enterprise systems. The Redmond-based company has heavily depended on OpenAI<\/a> for its generative AI offering and invested over 10 billion dollars in the company.
