This reading followed a 1% increase recorded in September (revised from 1.1%) and came in better than the market expectation for a decrease of 2%. On a yearly basis, Pending Home Sales fell 8.5%.\u00a0<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"fxs_headline_medium\">Market reaction<\/h2>\n<p>The US Dollar stays on positive ground, supported by previous <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.fxstreet.com\/economic-calendar\/united-states\">economic reports<\/a> from the US that included <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.fxstreet.com\/news\/us-core-pce-inflation-preview-federal-reserve-preferred-price-gauge-expected-to-slow-in-october-202311300700\">consumer inflation <\/a>and<a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.fxstreet.com\/news\/us-weekly-initial-jobless-claims-rose-to-218k-vs-220k-expected-202311301344\"> Jobless Claims<\/a>.
