Binance plans to delist some major spot pairs including Bitcoin (BTC), <strong>Ethereum <\/strong>(ETH), <strong>BNB<\/strong>,<strong> Solana <\/strong>(SOL), <strong>XRP<\/strong>, <strong>Cardano <\/strong>(ADA), <strong>Chainlink <\/strong>(LINK), <strong>Polygon (<\/strong>MATIC), <strong>Litecoin <\/strong>(LTC), and <strong>Dogecoin <\/strong>(DOGE) by December 29.<\/p>\n<h2>Binance Removes Major GBP Spot Pairs<\/h2>\n<p>Crypto exchange Binance in an official\u00a0<a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.binance.com\/en\/support\/announcement\/notice-of-removal-of-spot-trading-pairs-2023-12-29-707bb0bc0c9448c38926d99cad6d8573\">announcement <\/a>on December 22 revealed that it will remove and cease trading of GBP spot pairs. The move comes amid mounting challenges including regulatory burden, heightened scrutiny, and loss of banking partners.<\/p>\n<p><!-- WP QUADS Content Ad Plugin v. 2.0.72.1 --><\/p>\n<p>Binance will remove ADA\/GBP, BNB\/GBP, BTC\/GBP, DOGE\/GBP, ETH\/GBP, GBP\/USDT, LINK\/GBP, LTC\/GBP, MATIC\/GBP, SOL\/GBP, and XRP\/GBP at 03:00 UTC on December 29.<\/p>\n<p>In October, Binance <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/coingape.com\/breaking-binance-pauses-uk-new-user-registrations\/\">stopped accepting new customers<\/a> in the UK, in compliance with new FCA regulations restricting promotions from overseas digital asset firms in the country.
