A widely followed crypto trader is reassuring traders that Bitcoin\u2019s (BTC<\/a>) current consolidation is simply a dip in the bull market.<\/p>\n

Crypto analyst Micha\u00ebl van de Poppe\u00a0tells<\/a>\u00a0his 679,400 followers on the social media platform X that the market cooling down at the end of the year is to be expected.<\/p>\n

\u201cBitcoin consolidating, altcoins taking a breather at the year\u2019s final days.<\/em><\/p>\n

Pretty standard de-risking going into the final days of 2023.\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n

Expecting to rally up from Monday onwards.\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n

Simply buy the dips, it\u2019s a bull market.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

BTC is worth $42,122 at time of writing, down 3.6% in the last week.<\/p>\n

Looking at Solana (SOL<\/a>), Van de Poppe\u00a0thinks<\/a>\u00a0the top Ethereum (ETH<\/a>) rival will also cool down for the time being.<\/p>\n

\u201cSOL<\/em><\/p>\n

Massive upward run, it rallied by more than 500% in two months.\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n

Rotation is happening toward ETH and other ecosystems, so probably SOL is done for now.<\/em><\/p>\n

Higher timeframe trading; interested at $70-80 for long-term entries.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

SOL is trading for $106 at time of writing.<\/p>\n

Van de Poppe also breaks down the lesser-known ETH rival Sui (SUI<\/a>). According to the analyst, SUI is in a good position\u00a0to rally<\/a>\u00a0against Bitcoin (SUI\/BTC).<\/p>\n

\u201cSUI<\/em><\/p>\n

The ecosystems are heating up, and SUI is waking up alongside ARB (Arbitrum) and OP (Optimism).<\/em><\/p>\n

Looking for the BTC pair here, which is ready to do a beautiful retest at the 0.00001710 area.\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n

If that holds, an uptrend likely starts to 0.00003000 BTC.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n
