Hacked Account Spreads False Bitcoin ETF Approval<\/h2>\n

On Tuesday, the compromised SEC X account released a tweet claiming the approval of Bitcoin ETFs for listing on registered national securities exchanges. This message, complete with an elaborate graphic and a supposed quote from SEC Chair Gary Gensler, quickly spread misinformation. However, the SEC, through Gensler\u2019s own X account and an SEC spokesperson, confirmed the account\u2019s breach and clarified that no such approvals have been granted.<\/span><\/p>\n
