On display from Feb. 13 to March 10, the pieces \u201c\u03a3 Lumina\u201d and \u201cInterpretation by Saccharomyces cerevisiae of The Painter\u2019s Studio by Gustave Courbet\u201d resonate with the museum\u2019s collections.  Agoria has also prepared an original musical composition to accompany the pieces, which museum attendees can hear as a preview at the exhibition\u2014and live at Agoria\u2019s Feb. 23 DJ set at the museum.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI try to connect the physical with the digital, the living with the cryptic. Although digital and physical are often in opposition, I try to reverse this relationship and reconcile them,\u201d Agoria said in a statement.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">Agoria. Credit: Tezos Foundation<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-sculpture-light-and-live-minting\">Sculpture, Light, and Live Minting<\/h2>\n<p>To Agoria, \u201c\u03a3 Lumina,\u201d an intricate, metallic physical sculpture he created in partnership with artist Johan Lescure, is a way to manifest the connection between the biological and the digital.<\/p>\n<p>Light projected on the sculpture creates a shadow containing a QR code, which visitors can use to interact with the work. After scanning the QR code with their smartphones, visitors are invited to blow into their device\u2019s microphone.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-pullquote\">\n<blockquote>\n<p>\u201cI try to connect the physical with the digital, the living with the cryptic. Although digital and physical are often in opposition, I try to reverse this relationship and reconcile them.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><cite>AGORIA<\/cite><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<\/figure>\n<p>This individual breath, unique to each human being, transforms the digital sculpture in a way that cannot be replicated. Visitors can then mint this transformation with them as a Tezos NFT.<\/p>\n<p>This process, known as live minting, is in partnership with the open generative art platform <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/fx_hash_\">fx(hash)<\/a> and the open-source <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/feralfile\">FeralFile<\/a> app.<\/p>\n<p>Agoria and Lescure will also create between four and seven original works inspired by these visitor-created images, which will be part of a sale with profits donated to the museum.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-art-interpreted-by-yeast\">Art, Interpreted By Yeast<\/h2>\n<p>To create the second piece, \u201cInterpretation by Saccharomyces cerevisiae of The Painter\u2019s Studio by Gustave Courbet,\u201d Agoria did something wildly original.
