Superchief Gallery is opening its fourth location this weekend, which is dedicated to Bitcoin Ordinals<\/p>\n

Renowned NFT gallery Superchief unveiled<\/a> on Feb. 14 the world\u2019s first Bitcoin Ordinals<\/a> gallery.<\/p>\n

Its new location, set to open its doors today, is the result of partnerships with an artistic and development group dedicated to Ordinals art, Cypherpunk Labs Collective<\/a>, neurotechnology startup NuroRealm<\/a>, and a software firm focused on rare sats hunting called Deezy<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cBy partnering with knowledgeable, trusted teams from the core of the Ordinals ecosystem, Superchief aims to support the artists who currently exist within the Ordinals community,\u201d read a post by Superchief\u2019s X account.<\/p>\n

Since launching in early 2023, Bitcoin Ordinals have taken the ecosystem by storm<\/a>. Thanks to its unique method for storing arbitrary data on the oldest blockchain in the industry, they are helping Bitcoin shed its pet rock status \u2013 taking the protocol beyond its store of value use case.<\/p>\n

The ecosystem has also spawned BRC-20s<\/a>, an experimental standard that allows for fungible tokens on Bitcoin. Some of these have skyrocketed in value, with its first-in-kind, ORDI<\/a>, commanding a $1.5 billion market cap.<\/p>\n

Superchief\u2019s new gallery aims to be a permanent fixture, showcasing existing artwork as well as the creations of up-and-coming Ordinals artists.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s opening alongside the release of Bitcoin Magazine\u2019s first physical edition dedicated to Ordinals. The developer behind Ordinals, Casey Rodarmor<\/a>, is also scheduled to record a new episode of his \u201cHell Money\u201d podcast.<\/p>\n
