A widely followed crypto analyst is laying out his trading game plan for the time being.<\/p>\n

Crypto trader Micha\u00ebl van de Poppe\u00a0tells<\/a>\u00a0his nearly 700,000 followers on the social media platform X his strategy for the next 1-2 months.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe gameplan for the coming period:<\/em><\/p>\n

\u2013 Survive a potential Bitcoin (BTC) correction, as Bitcoin is at the end of this run and probably consolidating.<\/em><\/p>\n

\u2013 Rotate as much towards the Ethereum (ETH) ecosystem.\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n

Hold for 1-2 months and then wait in cash until correction is over.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

With Van de Poppe favoring the altcoin markets over the coming months, the analyst\u00a0says<\/a>\u00a0the altcoin market cap, which the trader defines as all non-BTC<\/a> or ETH<\/a> cryptos, could run up to a value of $1 trillion.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe Altcoin market capitalization has barely woken up.<\/em><\/p>\n

There\u2019s still a lot of momentum and opportunity ahead of us, in which I suspect a rally to $800 billion \u2013 1 trillion.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

According to the analyst, the time<\/a> to invest in crypto and BTC is not when they are surging near all-time high prices.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis is the thing with Bitcoin and Crypto.<\/em><\/p>\n

People are not interested when something is down 80%.\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n

They are when there are new highs.\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n

Currently, most Altcoins are still down 50-80% from their highs and a great investment opportunity.\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n

The right time to buy is pre-halving.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n
