{"id":272092,"date":"2024-03-27T00:18:54","date_gmt":"2024-03-26T18:48:54","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dripp.zone\/news\/?p=272092"},"modified":"2024-03-27T00:18:54","modified_gmt":"2024-03-26T18:48:54","slug":"dex-trading-volumes-on-bnb-chain-flip-ethereum-and-solana-crypto-news","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/dripp.zone\/news\/dex-trading-volumes-on-bnb-chain-flip-ethereum-and-solana-crypto-news\/","title":{"rendered":"DEX Trading Volumes on BNB Chain Flip Ethereum and Solana &#8211; Crypto News"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><\/p>\n<p>Crypto markets bounce back from last week\u2019s rout, with Bitcoin and Ether reclaiming $70,000 and $3,600, respectively.<\/p>\n<div>\n<p>As the rivalry between the Ethereum and Solana communities heats up, BNB Chain quietly beat both in terms of trading volume.<\/p>\n<p>Daily trading volume on BNB Chain, the Layer 1 blockchain backed by Binance, surpassed $2.2 billion on March 24, accounting for over a quarter of the total volume on decentralized exchanges tracked by <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/defillama.com\/dexs\/chainshttps:\/\/defillama.com\/dexs\/chains\">DeFillama<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>That puts it ahead of Ethereum and Solana, which have been battling for the top spot amid the ongoing <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/thedefiant.io\/solana-memecoin-bome-hits-usd600-million-market-cap-in-less-than-two-days\">memecoin mania<\/a> on the latter, for the first time since May 2023.<\/p>\n<p>Veteran decentralized exchange <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/thedefiant.io\/pancakeswap-s-cake-token-jumps-after-proposal-to-reduce-supply\">PancakeSwap<\/a> continues to dominate trading activity on BNB Chain, processing over $1.3 billion worth of trades in the last 24 hours across its V2 and V3 iterations.<\/p>\n<p><!--$!--><!--\/$--><\/p>\n<p>Top tokens include the USDT stablecoin, BNB, the network\u2019s native token, VENOM, a recently launched Layer 1, and a memecoin called Cat in a Dog\u2019s World (MEW).<\/p>\n<figure><figcaption class=\"text-center text-xs\">Top Tokens on PancakeSwap<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>The rising activity comes after BNB has more than doubled its market capitalization since Binance agreed to a <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/thedefiant.io\/binance-ceo-changpeng-zhao-to-step-down-and-agree-to-usd4-3b-settlement\">multi-billion dollar<\/a> settlement with the SEC in November.<\/p>\n<h2>Bitcoin Reclaims $70,000<\/h2>\n<p>Crypto markets continue to build on last week\u2019s positive momentum, with Bitcoin hitting an intraday high of $71,420.
