Its <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/decrypt.co\/price\/bitcoin\" class=\"sc-adb616fe-0 bJsyml\">price<\/a> now stands at $69,966, per CoinGecko\u2014still below the nearly $74,000 all-time high it touched earlier this month.<\/p>\n<p class=\"font-meta-serif-pro scene:font-noto-sans scene:text-base scene:md:text-lg font-normal text-lg md:text-xl md:leading-9 tracking-px text-body gg-dark:text-neutral-100\">But most of this week&#8217;s action has been focused elsewhere: in the world of <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/decrypt.co\/resources\/what-are-meme-coins-and-tokens\" class=\"sc-adb616fe-0 bJsyml\">meme coins and tokens<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p class=\"font-meta-serif-pro scene:font-noto-sans scene:text-base scene:md:text-lg font-normal text-lg md:text-xl md:leading-9 tracking-px text-body gg-dark:text-neutral-100\">Out of the top cryptocurrencies by market cap, one of the biggest winners of the week is <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/decrypt.co\/resources\/dogecoin-crypto-cryptocurrency-guide-how-to-buy-doge\" class=\"sc-adb616fe-0 bJsyml\">Dogecoin<\/a>. The ninth biggest digital asset is up nearly 45% in seven days and is now <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/decrypt.co\/price\/dogecoin\" class=\"sc-adb616fe-0 bJsyml\">priced at<\/a> $0.208.<\/p>\n<p class=\"font-meta-serif-pro scene:font-noto-sans scene:text-base scene:md:text-lg font-normal text-lg md:text-xl md:leading-9 tracking-px text-body gg-dark:text-neutral-100\">It has only been beaten by <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/decrypt.co\/resources\/bitcoin-cash\" class=\"sc-adb616fe-0 bJsyml\">Bitcoin Cash<\/a>, the 15th biggest coin, which has shot up in value over the week by over 30% and by over 50% in 30 days.<\/p>\n<p class=\"font-meta-serif-pro scene:font-noto-sans scene:text-base scene:md:text-lg font-normal text-lg md:text-xl md:leading-9 tracking-px text-body gg-dark:text-neutral-100\">In the fast-moving meme coin world, other tokens have surged. Most notably, <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/decrypt.co\/price\/dogwifcoin\" class=\"sc-adb616fe-0 bJsyml\">Dogwifhat<\/a>, which is this week&#8217;s best-performing cryptocurrency. The <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/decrypt.co\/price\/solana\" class=\"sc-adb616fe-0 bJsyml\">Solana<\/a>-based token is up nearly 100% over the week and is priced at $4.52 as of writing.<\/p>\n<p class=\"font-meta-serif-pro scene:font-noto-sans scene:text-base scene:md:text-lg font-normal text-lg md:text-xl md:leading-9 tracking-px text-body gg-dark:text-neutral-100\">It has been on a tear this week following the rise of major coins and tokens. Usually, when the likes of Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Solana rise, memes can ride on the back of them.<\/p>\n<p class=\"font-meta-serif-pro scene:font-noto-sans scene:text-base scene:md:text-lg font-normal text-lg md:text-xl md:leading-9 tracking-px text-body gg-dark:text-neutral-100\">Another major meme, <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/decrypt.co\/resources\/what-is-shiba-inu-shib-meme-coin-dogecoin-rival\" class=\"sc-adb616fe-0 bJsyml\">Shiba Inu<\/a>, has also had a lot of luck this week: the Dogecoin-competitor has jumped over 1o% in value the past seven days, sitting at $0.00003 early Saturday.<\/p>\n<p class=\"font-meta-serif-pro scene:font-noto-sans scene:text-base scene:md:text-lg font-normal text-lg md:text-xl md:leading-9 tracking-px text-body gg-dark:text-neutral-100\">Other memes comandeering the spotlight include Solana-based <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/decrypt.co\/price\/bonk\" class=\"sc-adb616fe-0 bJsyml\">Bonk<\/a> and <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/decrypt.co\/resources\/what-is-pepecoin-pepe\" class=\"sc-adb616fe-0 bJsyml\">Pepe<\/a>, which are up 23% and 6%, respectively.<\/p>\n<p class=\"font-meta-serif-pro scene:font-noto-sans scene:text-base scene:md:text-lg font-normal text-lg md:text-xl md:leading-9 tracking-px text-body gg-dark:text-neutral-100\">Major coins like <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/decrypt.co\/resources\/what-is-ethereum-quickly-explained-four-minute-guide\" class=\"sc-adb616fe-0 bJsyml\">Ethereum<\/a> and Solana have also risen in price over the past week\u2014albeit slightly.
