The asset is expected to extend its upside on easing expectations that the Federal Reserve (Fed) will begin reducing interest rates from the June meeting.<\/p>\n<p>Fed policymakers don\u2019t see any urgency for rate cuts as labor market conditions are tight and the <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.fxstreet.com\/rates-charts\/forecast\" data-fxs-autoanchor=\"\">economic outlook<\/a> is strong. Cleveland Fed Bank President Loretta Mester said on Tuesday that the central bank sees more risk in cutting interest <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.fxstreet.com\/rates-charts\/rates\" data-fxs-autoanchor=\"\">rates<\/a> too early. Fed Mester added, \u201cWith labor markets and economic growth both being very solid, we do not need to take that risk.\u201d While she sees three rate cuts as \u201creasonable\u201d this year.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, the <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.fxstreet.com\/economic-calendar\/united-states\" data-fxs-autoanchor=\"\">United States<\/a> ADP reported upbeat employment data for March. The agency reported that 184K new workers were hired by private employers against expectations of 148K and the prior reading of 155K.<\/p>\n<p>Going forward, investors will focus on Fed Chair Jerome Powell&#8217;s speech, which is expected at 16:10 GMT. Powell is expected to provide cues about when the central bank will pivot to rate cuts.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, the Japanese Yen is broadly weak as investors lack confidence that the Bank of Japan (BoJ) will tighten its policy sooner due to uncertainty over the wage growth spiral.
