The data outpaced the market consensus of 37.2.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"fxs_headline_medium\">Key points<\/h2>\n<blockquote>\n<p>A recovering global economy is boosting expectations for Germany, with half of the respondents anticipating the country\u2019s economy to pick up over the next six months.<\/p>\n<p>Further contributing to the heightened optimism are the much-improved assessments of the situation and economic expectations in Germany\u2019s export destinations.<\/p>\n<p>This is reflected, among other things, in the expected appreciation of the us dollar against the Euro.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<h2 class=\"fxs_headline_medium\">Market reaction<\/h2>\n<p>The\u00a0<a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.fxstreet.com\/currencies\/eurusd\"><strong>EUR\/USD<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0pair is little impresseed by encouraging German and Eurozone ZEW surveys.
