Later in the day, the Eurozone <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.fxstreet.com\/economic-calendar\/united-states\" data-fxs-autoanchor=\"\">Gross Domestic Product<\/a> (GDP) growth number Q1 and the first reading of the Harmonized Index of Consumer Prices (HICP) will be released.\u00a0<br \/>\u00a0<br \/>German Retail Sales climbed 0.3% YoY in March from a decline of 2.7% in February, the Destatis showed on Tuesday. On a monthly basis, the Retail Sales figure rose 1.8% MoM in March, compared to a 1.9% drop in the previous month. Nonetheless, the Euro\u00a0(EUR) fails\u00a0to\u00a0capitalize\u00a0on the upbeat Retail Sales report.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Looking ahead,\u00a0investors will focus on the release of Gross Domestic Product (GDP) for Q1 from Germany and the Eurozone, along with the <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.fxstreet.com\/economic-calendar\/country\/c9822cb1-6cee-45f4-a9a2-89d136990308\" data-fxs-autoanchor=\"\">Eurozone<\/a> inflation data.\u00a0If the reports show a softer-than-expected outcome, this might allow the <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.fxstreet.com\/macroeconomics\/central-banks\/ecb\" data-fxs-autoanchor=\"\">ECB<\/a> to pivot to interest rate cuts sooner and weigh on the EUR.<br \/>\u00a0<br \/>On the other hand, Bank of England (BoE) Chief Economist Huw Pill warned last week that there were\u00a0greater\u00a0risks from cutting the interest rate too\u00a0quickly,\u00a0rather than too late. His cautious approach to monetary policy\u00a0provides some support to the British Pound (GBP).
