It enables users to re-stake their Ether or liquid staking tokens (LSTs) to earn additional yield by securing third-party applications called Actively Validated Services (AVS).<\/p>\n<p>Once claimed, users can stake and delegate their tokens to a node operator for EigenDA, a data availability protocol that is the first AVS built atop EigenLayer.
