Cryptocurrency exchange Coinbase has announced the inclusion of Core (CORECHAIN) on its listing roadmap, sparking a significant price surge. As of press time, the Core price has jumped, securing the top gainer according to CoinMarketCap data. <\/span><\/p>\n

This update comes with other significant listings by Coinbase<\/a>, expanding its list of supported cryptocurrencies.<\/span><\/p>\n

Coinbase Expands Its Cryptocurrency Catalog<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Coinbase has officially created the likelihood of listing Core on their exchange by including it on their listing schedule. While this does not necessarily lock in a final listing, it has been the case that every single cryptocurrency listed on Coinbase\u2019s roadmap has been listed. <\/span><\/p>\n

Core, which runs on a layer-1<\/a> blockchain network that is compatible with the EVM, allows the execution of Ethereum smart contracts and the use of decentralized applications. This compatibility may extend its use and popularity in the crypto market.<\/span><\/p>\n

This new concept is intended to enhance network security and performance. Since the launch of its mainnet in January 2023, Core has risen in rank to become the sixty-fifth largest cryptocurrency across the globe by market capitalization, which stands at $1,705,602,554. However, Core is not currently traded on Binance but can be found on other exchanges such as Bybit<\/a> and OKX.<\/span><\/p>\n

CORE Price Surges 20%<\/strong><\/h2>\n

This announcement has put upward pressure on the Core price in the last 24 hours as the market responded positively to the news surging over 20% and exchanging hands at $1.96. This listing roadmap inclusion is a part of the firm\u2019s expansion plan, which aims to provide its users with various tokens and coins, including meme coins and major cryptocurrencies.<\/span><\/p>\n

Similarly, there have been recent listings like Solana-based meme coin Bonk (BONK<\/a>) for trading in New York as well as Coinbase\u2019s continuous support for various digital assets despite ongoing discussions and regulatory actions regarding certain assets such as XRP. <\/span><\/p>\n
