Germany\u2019s industrial sector remained in contraction in April, the latest data published by Destatis showed on Friday.<\/p>\n

Industrial output in the Eurozone\u2019s top economy declined 0.1% MoM, the federal statistics authority Destatis said in figures adjusted for seasonal and\u00a0calendar\u00a0effects, as against the 0.3% expected and a 0.4% decrease in March.<\/p>\n

German Industrial Production fell at an annual rate of 3.9% in April versus the March drop of 3.3%.<\/p>\n

The downbeat German industrial figures failed to have any impact on\u00a0the Euro<\/strong><\/a>, as\u00a0EUR\/USD<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0trades flat on the day at 1.0890 at the press time.<\/p>\n
