A widely followed crypto analyst is warning traders that Bitcoin (BTC<\/a>) will likely fall further before rising again.<\/p>\n Pseudonymous crypto trader Rekt Capital tells<\/a> his 476,200 followers on the social media platform X that BTC\u2019s technicals has confirms that the crypto king has already seen its local top.<\/p>\n \u201cIt is confirmed<\/em><\/p>\n Bitcoin\u2019s recent advances to the upside fed into a local topping structure (blue box) as seen in recent months<\/em><\/p>\n And a new Lower High has developed (black).\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n According to the analyst, BTC\u2019s movements<\/a> are mimicking a pattern produced earlier this year.<\/p>\n \u201cThis current cluster of Bitcoin price action (orange box) is starting to resemble the mid-March\/mid-April local topping structure.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n Looking into BTC\u2019s past, Rekt Capital says<\/a> the flagship crypto is simply following a historical precedent of struggling to break out immediately after the halvings which slash miners\u2019 rewards in half roughly every four years.<\/p>\n \u201cHistory prevails<\/em><\/p>\n Bitcoin was not able to breakout this early in the Post-Halving period, as history suggested.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n Now looking forward<\/a>, the pseudonymous analyst says Bitcoin has greater gains to come.<\/p>\n \u201cThis current BTC pullback is supposed to distract you from the fact that the next months will be able to change your life forever.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n Last week, the analyst suggested<\/a> that BTC was only days away from \u201ca historic breakout.\u201d<\/p>\n BTC is worth $66,600 at time of writing, down 5% in the last 24 hours.<\/p>\n Don’t Miss a Beat \u2013 Subscribe<\/a> to get email alerts delivered directly to your inbox <\/span><\/em>   Featured Image: Shutterstock\/Jorm S<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" A widely followed crypto analyst is warning traders that Bitcoin (BTC) will likely fall further before rising again.
