A recent survey of Japanese investors finds that institutional traders in Japan are aiming to allocate funds to crypto.<\/p>\n
In a recent report, Japanese financial giant Nomura\u2019s digital asset arm Laser Digital surveyed<\/a> over 500 investment managers in Japan.<\/p>\n \u201cMore than 500 investment managers in Japan were surveyed; from institutional investors, family offices and public-service corporations in Japan, with AUM (assets under management) ranging from several hundred million yen to several hundred billion yen.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n According to the survey<\/a>, over 50% of surveyed participants expressed intentions to invest in crypto within three years.<\/p>\n 60% of respondents are interested in crypto as a diversification opportunity, while 38% identified crypto as having a low correlation with other investment assets.<\/p>\n 37% said crypto was a hedge against inflation.
