{"id":340175,"date":"2024-07-09T03:08:44","date_gmt":"2024-07-08T21:38:44","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dripp.zone\/news\/?p=340175"},"modified":"2024-07-09T03:08:44","modified_gmt":"2024-07-08T21:38:44","slug":"institutions-see-crypto-dip-as-opportunity-pour-441000000-into-etps-coinshares-crypto-news","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/dripp.zone\/news\/institutions-see-crypto-dip-as-opportunity-pour-441000000-into-etps-coinshares-crypto-news\/","title":{"rendered":"Institutions See Crypto Dip As Opportunity, Pour $441,000,000 Into ETPs: CoinShares &#8211; Crypto News"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><\/p>\n<div>\n<p>Digital assets manager CoinShares says that institutional crypto products raked in major inflows last week despite price weakness.<\/p>\n<p>In its latest Digital Asset Fund Flows <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/blog.coinshares.com\/volume-190-digital-asset-fund-flows-weekly-report-47b8dfbe45c6\">report<\/a>, CoinShares says digital asset investment products enjoyed $441 million in inflows last week.<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cDigital asset investment products saw inflows totaling US$441m, with recent price weakness prompted by Mt Gox and the German Government selling pressure likely being seen as a buying opportunity. <\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Volumes in Exchange Traded Products (ETPs) remained relatively low at US$7.9 billion for the week, reflecting the typical seasonal pattern of lower volumes in the summer months.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_190710\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-190710\" style=\"width: 1063px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-190710\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Source: CoinShares<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>The US region led inflows at $384 million. Hong Kong, Switzerland and Canada brought in inflows of $32 million, $24 million and $12 million, respectively.<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cGermany being an outlier, seeing US$23m outflows.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Bitcoin (<a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/dailyhodl.com\/currencies\/bitcoin\">BTC<\/a>) brought in $398 million in inflows but, according to CoinShares, \u201cunusually represented just 90% of total inflows as investors chose to invest across a much broader set of altcoins.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Solana (<a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/dailyhodl.com\/currencies\/solana\">SOL<\/a>), for instance, led all altcoins with $16.3 million in inflows. Multi-asset crypto investment vehicles enjoyed $12.8 million in inflows while Ethereum (<a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/dailyhodl.com\/currencies\/ethereum\/\">ETH<\/a>) saw $10.2 million.
