Billionaire and Shark Tank star Mark Cuban says the stars are aligning for Bitcoin (BTC<\/a>) in the best possible way.<\/p>\n Cuban tells<\/a> his 8.8 million followers on the social media platform X that the emergence of Silicon Valley support for former President Trump is, in his opinion, a \u201cBitcoin play.\u201d<\/p>\n According to Cuban, a Trump presidency will make it easier to operate a crypto business in the US due to \u201cinevitable and required\u201d changes at the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).<\/p>\n He also says that inflationary pressures and geopolitical uncertainty will drive BTC to greater heights.<\/p>\n \u201cWhat will drive the price of BTC is lower tax rates and tariffs, which if history is any guide (and it\u2019s not always ), will be inflationary.<\/em><\/p>\n Combine that with global uncertainty as to the geopolitical role of the USA, and the impact on the US dollar as a reserve currency, and you can\u2019t align the stars any better for a BTC price acceleration.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n Once Trump is in power and an uncertain geopolitical stage is set, Cuban says<\/a> that BTC can become a \u201csafe haven\u201d that goes much higher in price than anyone expects.<\/p>\n \u201cHow high can the price go? Way higher than you think. Remember, the market for BTC is global. And the supply has a final limit of 21 million BTC, with unlimited fractionalization.<\/em><\/p>\n Keep that in mind as you consider what happens if because of geopolitical uncertainty and the decline of the dollar as the reserve currency, BTC becomes a \u2018safe haven\u2019 globally, which means that BTC could be what countries and all of us look to buy as a means to protect our savings.<\/em><\/p>\n Crazy? It already happens in countries facing hyperinflation.<\/em><\/p>\n And if things really go further than we can imagine today (and I\u2019m not saying they will. Just that this has a possibility somewhere above zero), then BTC becomes exactly what the maxis envision.
