These factors pushed total assets under management up 6.2% to $92.7 billion.<\/p>\n<p>The US Securities and Exchange\u00a0<span style=\"margin: 0px;padding: 0px\">Commission\u00a0<a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/cryptoslate.com\/blackrock-bitcoin-etf-options-sec-approval-confirmed-setting-up-hope-of-gamma-squeeze\/\">approved<\/a><\/span><a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/cryptoslate.com\/blackrock-bitcoin-etf-options-sec-approval-confirmed-setting-up-hope-of-gamma-squeeze\/\">\u00a0options trading<\/a> for BlackRock\u2019s spot Bitcoin ETF, which also lifted market sentiment. Despite these inflows, weekly trading volume in the sector dipped by 3.1%.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #333333;font-size: 22px;font-weight: bold\">Bitcoin\u2019s dominance continues<\/span><\/p>\n<p>The CoinShares report showed that <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/cryptoslate.com\/coins\/bitcoin\/\">Bitcoin<\/a> continued to dominate the flows, with investors pouring in $1 billion to BTC-related investment products.<\/p>\n<p>This can be linked to its strong price performance and also the improved inflows to spot Bitcoin ETF products last week. Notably, the funds run by <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/cryptoslate.com\/companies\/bitwise\/\">Bitwise<\/a>, <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/cryptoslate.com\/companies\/blackrock\/\">BlackRock<\/a>, <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/cryptoslate.com\/companies\/fidelity-investments\/\">Fidelity<\/a>, and Ark 21 Shares all saw positive performance during the reporting period.<\/p>\n<p>However, <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/cryptoslate.com\/companies\/grayscale-investments\/\">Grayscale\u2019s<\/a> crypto funds continued their net outflow trend, dropping its total assets to $21.2 billion.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_445832\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-445832\" style=\"width: 641px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" wp-image-445832\" src=\"https:\/\/cryptoslate.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/09\/Screenshot-2024-09-30-111516.jpg\" alt=\"Crypto Assets \" width=\"641\" height=\"378\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-445832\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Crypto Assets Fund Flows (Source: CoinShares)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Meanwhile, BTC\u2019s recent uptrend to around $65,000 fueled an $8.8 million inflow into short-Bitcoin products, as some investors expect the current rally to fade.<\/p>\n<p>Regionally, sentiment was divided. The US led with $1.2 billion in inflows, while Switzerland trailed with $84 million.
