{"id":359247,"date":"2024-10-01T03:28:42","date_gmt":"2024-09-30T21:58:42","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dripp.zone\/news\/?p=359247"},"modified":"2024-10-01T03:28:42","modified_gmt":"2024-09-30T21:58:42","slug":"1200000000-flows-into-institutional-crypto-products-amid-further-expectations-of-dovish-fed-coinshares-crypto-news","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/dripp.zone\/news\/1200000000-flows-into-institutional-crypto-products-amid-further-expectations-of-dovish-fed-coinshares-crypto-news\/","title":{"rendered":"$1,200,000,000 Flows Into Institutional Crypto Products Amid Further Expectations of Dovish Fed: CoinShares &#8211; Crypto News"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><\/p>\n<div>\n<p>Digital assets manager CoinShares says that institutional crypto investors poured billions in capital into digital asset products last week in anticipation of further interest rate cuts.<\/p>\n<p>In its latest Digital Asset Fund Flows\u00a0<a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/blog.coinshares.com\/volume-199-digital-asset-fund-flows-weekly-report-a03547e1f95d\">report<\/a>, CoinShares says that institutional crypto investment products saw a surge in inflows to the tune of $1.2 billion last week.<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cDigital asset investment products saw a third consecutive week of inflows totaling US$1.2bn, which we believe is a reaction to continued expectations of dovish monetary policy in the US and associated positive price momentum, with total assets under management (AuM) rising by 6.2% last week.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_190710\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-190710\" style=\"width: 1063px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-190710\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Source: Coinshares<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>From a regional perspective, the United States led inflows at $1.2 billion. While Switzerland provided another $84 million worth of inflows, Germany and Brazil suffered outflows of $21 million and $3 million.<\/p>\n<p>Bitcoin (<a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/dailyhodl.com\/currencies\/bitcoin\/\">BTC<\/a>), per usual, collected the lion\u2019s share of the inflows at $1 billion. However, according to CoinShares, those huge inflows came with a catch.<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201c\u2026 although this also spurred further inflows into short-bitcoin investment products of US$8.8m.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Ethereum (<a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/dailyhodl.com\/currencies\/ethereum\">ETH<\/a>) products broke a five-week outflow trend, raking in $87 million last week.<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cConversely, Solana saw US$4.8m outflows.
