A decentralized money-lending protocol built on the Ethereum (ETH<\/a>) scaling solution Starknet is taking action to recover the funds stolen from its platform.<\/p>\n In a post on the social media platform X, zkLend issued a bounty offer to the hacker who siphoned more than $9 million worth of assets in a security breach this week.<\/p>\n The protocol tells the exploiter to return at least 90% of the stolen funds and, in return, keep the remaining 10% as a reward.<\/p>\n \u201cTo the hacker: We understand that you are responsible for today\u2019s attack on zkLend. You may keep 10% of the funds as a whitehat bounty, and send back the remaining 90%, or 3,300 ETH to be exact, to this Ethereum address: 0xCf31e1b97790afD681723fA1398c5eAd9f69B98C\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n zkLend says it will release the bad actor from any liability related to the attack once it receives the transfer. It also warns of the potential consequences if the amount is not returned by the set deadline on Friday.<\/p>\n \u201cWe are working with security firms and law enforcement at this stage.
