We fell short and are working on getting it right. We are actively testing new fixes to address the issue,\u201d the post added.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div id=\"article-index-7\">\n<p>Further, <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"backlink\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.livemint.com\/topic\/openai\" data-vars-page-type=\"story\" data-vars-link-type=\"Manual\" data-vars-anchor-text=\"OpenAI\">OpenAI<\/a> said that the company is also \u201crevising how we collect and incorporate feedback to heavily weight long-term user satisfaction\u201d, besides adding more personalisation features, to give users \u201cgreater control over how ChatGPT behaves\u201d.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div id=\"article-index-9\">\n<h2>Sam Altman: ChatGPT\u2019s new personality is \u2018annoying\u2019<\/h2>\n<p>On April 28, <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"backlink\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.livemint.com\/technology\/tech-news\/saying-thank-you-please-to-chatgpt-it-s-costing-openai-millions-of-dollars-says-sam-altman-11745084899074.html\" data-vars-page-type=\"story\" data-vars-link-type=\"Manual\" data-vars-anchor-text=\"Sam Altman\">Sam Altman<\/a> admitted that the last updates to ChatGPT-4o made the chatbot \u2018too sycophant\u2019 and \u2018annoying\u2019. Just days earlier, 39-year-old had posted that OpenAI was rolling out a new update for ChatGPT that gave the chatbot \u201cimproved intelligence and personality\u201d.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div id=\"article-index-10\">\n<p>However, users on social media realised that ChatGPT had become way too agreeable and responded with positive affirmations to questions almost every single time.
