chatter on X (formerly Twitter), with many speculating that an \u201calt season\u201d may finally be underway.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2>Coinbase acquires Deribit<\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Additionally, Coinbase has <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.reuters.com\/markets\/deals\/coinbase-acquire-deribit-29-billion-deal-wsj-reports-2025-05-08\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow external noreferrer\" data-wpel-link=\"external\">announced<\/a> the acquisition of Deribit, a major crypto options exchange, in a $2.9 billion deal. 400;\">CEO Chris Pavlovski revealed that the company will roll out its BTC and stablecoin wallet in Q3 2025, directly challenging Coinbase Wallet.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight:
