The move places the company\u2019s suite of creative AI features into a streamlined mobile interface for the first time.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div id=\"article-index-1\">\n<h2>Key features<\/h2>\n<p>The new app brings with it several key tools, including generative fill, generative expand, text-to-image, text-to-video, and image-to-video functions. <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"backlink\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.livemint.com\/companies\/adobe-agentic-ai-agent-orchestrator-openai-google-ai-models-11742305117153.html\" data-vars-page-type=\"story\" data-vars-link-type=\"Manual\">Generative fill<\/a> allows users to seamlessly erase unwanted elements from photos or introduce new objects that weren\u2019t originally there. Generative expand, meanwhile, enables images to be stretched to different aspect ratios, a useful function for tailoring content to various social media platforms.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div id=\"article-index-2\">\n<p>The Firefly app&#8217;s text-based creation process is similar to offerings from other major tech players such as OpenAI, Google, and Meta. In the case of video content, the app currently produces clips that are up to five seconds long.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div id=\"article-index-3\">\n<p>Although these AI features have already been integrated into Adobe\u2019s flagship programmes like Photoshop and Lightroom, the Firefly mobile app aims to showcase them in a more focused and user-friendly format. It also allows users to choose between Adobe\u2019s proprietary AI models and those developed by <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"backlink\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.livemint.com\/technology\/tech-news\/adobe-rivals-openais-sora-with-new-firefly-video-model-what-is-it-and-how-to-use-11739611098193.html\" data-vars-page-type=\"story\" data-vars-link-type=\"Manual\">OpenAI or Google<\/a> for generating images and videos.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div id=\"article-index-5\">\n<p>While the Firefly app is free to download, content generation requires credits.
