The retail trading giant Robinhood is launching new micro futures for a trio of popular digital assets.<\/p>\n
In a new thread on the social media platform X, Robinhood says<\/a> that it\u2019s rolling out micro futures for crypto king Bitcoin (BTC<\/a>), smart contract platform Solana (SOL<\/a>), and payments blockchain token XRP<\/a> starting June 27th.<\/p>\n \u201cNew crypto futures are now on Robinhood. Trade micro XRP, Solana, and Bitcoin Friday futures with lower margin requirements and seamless execution with our trading ladder.\u201d <\/em><\/p>\n Robinhood initially launched futures products in January 2025, at first only offering Bitcoin and Ethereum (ETH<\/a>)-based assets in terms of crypto.<\/p>\n In April, derivatives marketplace giant CME Group announced<\/a> that it would be launching XRP-based futures over Robinhood, citing investor demand.<\/p>\n As stated by JB Mackenzie, vice president and general manager of futures and international at Robinhood, at the time,<\/p>\n \u201cBringing CME Group XRP futures to Robinhood is a natural next step in our mission to expand retail access to futures trading.
