Top stablecoin issuer Tether (USDT<\/a>) is unveiling its investment branch\u2019s portfolio, which includes over a hundred different companies in multiple sectors.<\/p>\n In a new thread on the social media platform X, Tether chief executive Paolo Ardoino says<\/a> the investments were made with the company\u2019s own profits and that he expects the portfolio to grow.<\/p>\n \u201cToday Tether publishes (a portion) of its investment\/venture portfolio. Overall Tether group invested in more than 120+ companies and this number is expected to grow significantly in the next months and years. <\/em><\/p>\n These investments have been made with Tether\u2019s own profits ($13.7 billion in 2024), outside of USDT (and other stables) reserves and are part of Tether Investments arm.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n Some noteworthy companies Tether has invested into include the video sharing platform Rumble, brain-to-interface medical equipment firm Blackrock Neurotech, blockchain intelligence firm Crystal Intelligence, Bitcoin (BTC<\/a>) treasury company Twenty One, various stablecoin-related businesses, and Juventus, one of the most popular and successful European soccer clubs in the world.<\/p>\n According to Tether Ventures, it is aiming<\/a> to back firms that further decentralization and individual sovereignty.<\/p>\n \u201cOur focus spans critical sectors including payment infrastructure, renewable energy, Bitcoin, agriculture, artificial intelligence, and tokenization.
